In a close game the Dublin Pubcrawlers got by the Burbank Tigers by the score
of 7 to 5.
Dublin came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning
plating 3 runs on 4 hits. After an out was recorded, Marco Scutaro initiated
the scoring spurt when he laced a single. Nick Markakis next to the plate
and he smashed a two-run homer. Jose Molina then doubled. Bryan Petersen
followed next and he doubled. Ian Kinsler was next to the plate, but was
promptly struck out. Hanley Ramirez kept things alive and was walked
intentionally. Dublin had a total of 12 hits for the game.
Bobby Cassevah(3-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 3 innings. Cassevah got
help from Santiago Casilla who earned his 22nd save. Brad Bergesen(3-1) was
charged with the loss in relief.
The winning ways continue for Dublin. They now have a record of 8-2 in recent
days. With this loss, Burbank has a 5-5 record of late, 60-61 overall.
