The DeKalb Zeitgeist had very little trouble at Wells Fargo Ballpark downing
the Yuma Desert Rats. The score was 10 to 5.
Yuma was unable to recover after DeKalb went ahead in the bottom of the 4th
inning scoring 3 runners on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Wilin
Rosario who excited the crowd when he launched a three-run homer. Yuma
scored in 5 different innings, but their shaky pitching kept them from
victory.
The win was credited to Chien-Ming Wang(4-1) who went 6 innings allowing 4
runs. Tom Gorzelanny recorded his 5th save. Erik Bedard(5-4) took the loss.
He was hit hard and gave up 6 hits and 5 walks in 3 innings.
