In a close game it was the DeKalb Zeitgeist 5, the reeling Tampico Stogies 3
at The Humidor.
 
DeKalb came up with 3 runs in the 5th inning with the help of 3 hits.  The
biggest moment was provided by Juan Francisco who silenced the stadium when
he popped a two-run clout over the fence.  DeKalb and Tampico each finished
the night with 7 hits.  
 
James McDonald(4-3) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win.
McDonald got help from Jason Hammel who earned his 2nd save.  The loss was
charged to Tommy Hanson(2-7).  
 
The DeKalb ballclub's record now stands at 34-40.  Still in a bad slump, with
this loss, Tampico is 2-8 lately and 35-39 on the year.
