Chris Heisey connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI at the ballpark as the
Dyersville Jurassics staged a comeback win over the Glen Oaks Bombers by the
count of 8 to 6.
Dyersville came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 9th inning with
3 runs on 2 hits. Shane Victorino led off and keyed the rally when he
singled. Victor Martinez came to the plate and was hit by a pitch. Heisey
then lost the ball over the fence for three runs giving Dyersville the win
much to the delight of the home town crowd. Dyersville simply wore out the
Glen Oaks pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.
The win went to David Hernandez(3-3) who allowed no runs in 1/3 of an inning.
Mariano Rivera(0-4) was hit with the loss in relief. 'What a game!,'
Hernandez said afterward. 'When we won it I almost couldn't believe it!'
