Columbus Crowd won a thriller over the Clarkietown Marauders in, 5 to 4.
The game was won by Columbus when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. Barmes singled. Wilson Betemit dug into the batters box next, but
he struck out. One out later, Andre Ethier came up and he doubled making
Columbus victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Columbus had
a total of 9 hits for the game.
The victory was credited to Kameron Loe(3-0) who went 3 innings, allowing no
runs. The losing pitcher was Chris Carpenter(3-5). He gave up 9 hits and 5
walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.
