Second baseman Rickie Weeks cracked a homer and had 4 RBI as the Columbus
Crowd beat the Burbank Tigers by a score of 12 to 5.
Weeks had a big evening at the plate. He rifled a three-run blast in the 8th
inning and hit a single in the 9th inning. Columbus lit up the scoreboard in
the 8th inning which saw them score 3 runs on 4 hits. The Columbus offense
man-handled the Burbank pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.
Kameron Loe(2-0) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Anibal
Sanchez(2-6) was tagged with the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 4 walks
