Third baseman Alex Rodriguez blasted 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Josh Tomlin
had an impressive outing at The Horseshoe where the Columbus Crowd beat the
Burbank Tigers by the score of 7 to 3.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Rodriguez. He blasted a two-run home run in the 2nd inning and
cracked a two-run shot in the 4th inning. Columbus managed 13 hits in their
victory.
Tomlin(2-0) finished the game allowing 3 runs in the victory. Carl Pavano(0-2)
was charged with the loss. He served up 3 homeruns in his 8 innings.
