With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
Egham Raiders rallied to top Chicago Colts by the score of 7 to 6.

Egham erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning with
2 runs. After an out was recorded, Kosuke Fukudome began the rally when he
drew a walk. Stephen Drew stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk.
Martin Prado then drew a walk to load the bases. Jonathan Papelbon then let
one slip out of his hand for a wild pitch. One out later, Adam Laroche
stepped in and he laced a single. This was a game of many highs and lows for
the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 6 times in all.

Kevin Slowey(4-10) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Papelbon(2-5) was hit with the loss in relief. Bill Nichols was all smiles
after the ballgame, 'It sure was looking pretty dim there for a while, but
our guys never gave up - and neither did our fans - they kept cheering us on.
What a sweet win!'
