Burke Badenhop pitched 4 strong innings as the Chicago Colts outscored the
Egham Raiders 4 to 1.
 
Chicago scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 8th inning scoring 3 runs
on 2 base hits.  Dan Uggla opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk.
Prince Fielder stepped up next and he drew a walk.  Jose Bautista then rifled
a three-run blast.  Two outs later Aaron Hill came up and he ripped a
one-base hit.  The Egham bats were silent in the bottom of the 9th.
 
Badenhop(4-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 4 innings. Jake
Westbrook(6-7) was hit with the loss.  This win by Chicago continues their
recent hot streak.  In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2.  For
the season, they are 47-40.  Not able to get much going in recent weeks,
Egham is 2-8 of late and now has an overall record of 34-53, worst in the
division.
