In a thriller the Anarchy City Chaos staged a dramatic comeback over the
Chicago Colts winning by a score of 5 to 4 at Lateralus Parabola.
Anarchy City scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning with 2 runs. After
an out was recorded, Cliff Pennington initiated the scoring spurt when he
drew a walk. Pennington took off for second and slid in with a stolen base.
Anarchy City continued their aggressive style with another stolen base.
Bobby Abreu was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Alex Rios came
up to bat and bombed a two-run dinger giving Anarchy City the victory and
sending the 36,842 home-town fans home happy. Anarchy City had 9 hits for
the night.
The win was credited to Carlos Villanueva(4-1) who went 1/3 of an inning
allowing no runs. Jonathan Papelbon(2-4) was charged with the loss in relief.
He surrendered 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning and saw his ERA increase from 2.81
to 3.31.
