19,094 fans were treated to a fine game at Covert Ops Field as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end.  The Chicago Colts won by the
slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
 
Chicago came through with the game-winning runs in the 8th inning with 2 runs
on 2 hits.  Jose Bautista opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk.
Troy Tulowitzki stepped up to the plate and he drew a walk.  Brian McCann
then reached on an error.  McCann stepped in and he hit a single to load the
bases.  After an out was recorded, Corey Patterson came to bat and slapped a
one-base hit.  Brandon Inge kept things alive and grounded into a double
play.  Huston Street was perfect in relief and gained credit for his 11th
save.  
 
Luke Gregerson(2-1) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Sergio
Santos(1-2) was the loser in relief.  He gave up 2 runs and 1 hit in 1/3 of
an inning.  
 
Wth the win Chicago now has a record of 33-32.  Langley has a record of 33-32
after the loss.
